Macrame Sandals

Our lead artisan Steven Pierre is teaching some of our young people how to make macrame sandals.

With this knowledge they have the ability to make and create shoes that will allow them to have employment & create an income for themselves and their families. In a village with most people living off their agriculture efforts and no employment this is of huge benefit to them.

Sandals are all made by hand and as such will come each one with unique imperfections. Please think of the hands that created each one & the story, difficulties, & hardships they endured. Your purchase will help them have a better chance to make a brighter future. Sa bon!!
